Marylhurst Preschool Moving
We have exciting news to share! On October 9th, Marylhurst's Board of Trustees voted unanimously to approve moving the early learning program in West Linn to our campus in Oregon City at the end of this school year.
This reuniting of our programs onto one campus is something that the Marylhurst community has wanted for some time now. In fact, it was never the intention to have our preschool program on a separate campus. Several moves, and space issues, necessitated finding a temporary alternative space for the preschool. Now that we are settled into Heron Creek, we can bring our programs and our community back together.
Just 12 minutes from our preschool in West Linn, our 38-acre campus in Oregon City has so much to offer. It is a special thing to have preschool through 8th grade together on the same campus: how different age children learn from one another; the smooth transitions between grade levels; the meaningful and lasting learning relationships that children build with teachers; and the deep community that is created.
