Celebrating Our Graduates: A Joyful Farewell to the Class of 2025
Last week, we gathered to celebrate the incredible journey of our five 8th-grade graduates—Bailey, Alice, Guy, Noelle, and Josie—as they marked the end of their time at Marylhurst and stepped into their next chapter.
The evening began with a showcase of the students’ Leadership and Legacy Projects, each one reflecting their passions, growth, and unique voices. During the ceremony, we heard directly from each graduate as they shared highlights from their Marylhurst years and spoke about the projects they poured themselves into. We were moved by Noelle’s original poetry, inspired by Bailey’s short film, delighted by Alice’s beautifully crafted cookbook, entertained by Guy’s imaginative board game, and uplifted by Josie’s vibrant mural. Their projects reflected not only their talents but also the values and creativity nurtured throughout their time at Marylhurst.
Adding to the celebration, our 6th and 7th-grade students performed a heartfelt tribute song, honoring the legacy of their older peers. The evening closed with a joyful reception, where alumni gathered to welcome our new graduates into the Marylhurst alumni community.
While we will deeply miss seeing these remarkable students on campus each day, we are proud of who they’ve become and excited for all that lies ahead. Congratulations to the Class of 2025!
