Melissa Dubal

Melissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education and a Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology and joined the TMS faculty in 2021. She first came to The Marylhurst School in 2011 as a kindergarten parent and had the privilege of watching both of her children grow and thrive as learners and citizens as they moved through the primary and middle school programs. She’s grateful to now have the opportunity to partner with families to support their students through community connections and immersive, inquiry-based learning. Melissa has worked as a speech pathologist, autism specialist, interventionist, educational support teacher, and classroom teacher. In each of these roles she has been passionate about finding dynamic ways for students to access their learning experiences and is always looking for opportunities to learn alongside them. In her free time, she can be found tending to her garden, enjoying the outdoors with her family, and traveling whenever possible. She lives in Oregon City with her husband, their two kids, and a menagerie of four-legged pets.
